Where do I even start! We have well water and I never liked the taste of it or felt fully safe drinking it. This beautiful water filter popped up on my TikTok and I could not stop thinking about it! Finally decided to buy this and my only regret is not getting it sooner!

FAQs

The Pleated Filter reduces PFAS, fluoride, chlorine, lead, VOCs, heavy metals,
pharmaceuticals, pesticides, microplastics, and more.

The Pleated Filter is rated for up to 1,100 gallons, which lasts most families about one year. We recommend replacing it annually regardless of gallons filtered.

We recommend monthly cleanings of the ceramic with dish soap and water. During cleanings, simply rinse the pleated shell of your filter under cool water.

The Stillwater Well is made from thick-walled, high-fire stoneware ceramic designed for real daily use in busy homes.

Yes. The Pleated Filter reduces many common well water contaminants, including bacteria.

No. The Stillwater Well does not remove naturally occurring minerals from your water.

The Pleated Filter uses NSF-certified polymer end caps made from a very stable industry-standard material. In a gravity system, these parts are not exposed to heat or friction. The filtration media itself is activated carbon + electrokinetic nanofiber technology designed to reduce contaminants including microplastics.

Yes. The filter inside the Stillwater Well is third-party tested. Those results can be found on our lab testing page.

The filter inside the Stillwater Well has been tested and certified for NSF Standard 42, which ensures material safety and certifies water filters for reducing aesthetic contaminants like chlorine, taste, and odor.

We open preorders every Wednesday at 5 PM Central Time. We're a small handmade business actively scaling production to meet demand while maintaining quality.

Yes. Our ceramic is finished with a lead-free, food-safe glaze formulated in house. When fired at over 2,000°F, the glaze permanently fuses to the ceramic, creating a glass-like, nonporous surface that becomes part of the ceramic itself.

The Pleated Filter combines activated carbon with electrokinetic nanofiber technology. The carbon helps reduce chlorine, chemicals, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, VOCs, and heavy metals, while the nanofiber shell captures smaller contaminants many gravity systems struggle with, including PFAS, fluoride, nitrates, and microplastics.

We don't recommend storing all drinking water in copper, especially for young children, as excessive copper exposure can become a concern over time.

Most traditional gravity filters rely primarily on carbon filtration. The Pleated Filter combines activated carbon with electrokinetic nanofiber technology, allowing it to reduce smaller modern contaminants more effectively, including PFAS, fluoride, nitrates, and microplastics.

Yes. The Pleated Filter is vegan friendly. The core is made from carbon and zeolite, and the filter does not come into contact with animal materials during production.
